That's So 70s: Jaunty Jumpsuits - Part 2!

Well what better subject to look at this week than that weird little 70s fashion trend - jumpsuits!  And not just any jumpsuits, oh no, indeedie no.  We're going to explore a fashion within a fashion, an oddity within an oddity, dare I say -  a dream within a dream.  What the heck am I talking about?  Well it's jumpsuits as FORMAL wear.  Let's "jump" to it!  

All that we see or seem is but a dream within a dream..... Upon seeing Kathy in this snappy formal jumpsuit set, perhaps they are, indeed, a dream within a dream....

It is a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma......Yep, that not only applies to foreign policy, but also to jumpsuits as formal wear.  "Jump into jumpsuit glamor"? you betcha!

You're once, twice, three times a lady....Three of our K Clubbers elegantly attired with two (Karen and Colleen) in flowingly formal jumpsuits!

Pool party baby, it was a cool party, cool pool party, la, la, la, Pool Party Baby......  Even for poolside events at the country club, jumpsuits were the "in" fashion in formal wear back in the 70s (1).  Looks like Karen's jumpsuit is missing some pieces (strategically placed!).

More elegance - jumpsuit style!  This time featuring Karen and Kay.  Like other formal jumpsuit attire, note the long, flowing, bell-bottomed pant legs.

Jumpsuit Elegance says it all!  Speaking of elegance in jumpsuits......

Oh my!  I think that they must have worked on Dottie's hair for an hour to get it to stay in that position! Either that or she was jumping around too much!

I know, I know, this post has been a little light on Kathy pics. sooooooo.....

Quoth the Raven, nevermore.....You're probably thinking I've lost my mind (2).  What, pray tell, could the tie-in possibly be to that poem.  Well, if you must ask, Kathy is in canary yellow, and a canary is a bird (like a raven). Also, I had Edgar Alan Poe on my mind from the quote on the first pic so, voila, The Raven just fell out. That and Kathy is always "raven-ously" beautiful.  Okay, okay, time to wrap this post up.
