Nature Republic Lucid Star Sweet Lipgloss in OR201

I bought this back when Nature Republic had outlets in Singapore. They are still around, but in Korea.

Packaging

This lipgloss comes in a star-flower shaped tube, and it is so cute! Other than the shape, it is pretty much a standard clear plastic packaging.

Shimmer Shimmer
I bought this mainly because of the high shimmer that you see in the photo below. This is one of those lip glosses that really makes your lips look like it is watering, and watering crystals! I would imagine this on a mermaid that just emerges from the lake under moonlight.

Applicator
The applicator is tapered off on one side, and I use that side to apply the gloss.

But the applicator is basically round, as shown below.

It is a very normal applicator to me. Nothing outstanding.

Colour and Pigmentation
The colour I got is OR201. It is a basic strawberry shade.

Pigmentation is low. This gloss really is more for putting over a lipstick to give that watery shimmer look. But you can't really see the shimmer in the hand swatch.

Swatch
Below, I have the Lucid Star Sweet Lipgloss in OR201 on my bare lips. LOVE the shimmer. But I will not wear it alone like that because of the lack of pigmentation.

Scent
This lipgloss is scented with a fruity fragrance, so if you are not comfortable with scents, you may want to skip this altogether.

Wear
I like that this lipgloss feels good on the lips - it is not sticky, doesn't dry my lips up. It is not long-wearing, but lasts long enough for me.

Cost
Very affordable. I think this was just slightly over $10 when I bought in Singapore.

In general, Nature Republic products are really quite cheap!

I love the shimmer. I think it is good for all girls who are into makeup to own a clear high-shimmer gloss, just so you can use it to change your look easily. The shimmer is comparable to my YSL Gloss Volupte. But of course, the YSL is way, way more pigmented than this.
