Hello everyone! So here is my first Halloween makeup tutorial. I am super happy with how this look came out and hopefully so do all of you. I am keeping this tutorial as simple as possible. So some of the items you will need are:
- Fishnet Stockings (Super Important) You can find some at a dollar store.
- Black eye shadow (different shades of black) and green eye shadow (shimmery bright green is preferable)
- Black eyeliner
- liquid gold/bronze luminizer
First off, you have to prime your face. So go ahead and use your primer. Next use a liquid luminizer. As you can see below I am using Hard Candy's glamazon bronze luminizer and I am just putting it all over my face. I am doing this as the base of the reptile look because once we start working on the scales the iridescence of the luminizer is going to come through.
Step 2:
Take your black eyeliner and apply it on your water line and all over the lid. I didn't use any specific one just what I could find. I added the liner because it helped make my eyes smaller and I felt that it helped the look along.
Step 3:
Take your fishnet stockings and make sure it doesn't have any extra designs on them. Place the stockings over your face and secure it tightly at the nape of your neck so when you are applying your eye shadow it won't be moving around. If it does move around then you won't have the desired pattern of scales.
Next and this will be the longest part but guess what? For once in your life you don't have to be careful with the black eye shadow! What I am mainly using as my black eye shadow is also from Hard Candy and it is the ten eye shadow palette in #525 smoke out. Below I have a swatch of the eye shadow and as you can see it is quite pigmented. But you don't have to use this one, you can use whatever black eye shadows you have laying around. And if you guys are anything like me you have plenty that you have never used. If you look closely you can see I made a HUGE dent in the shadow (yay!!!)
Afterwards, you can start adding the different shades of black. I used mine from the color workshop but you can use whatever ones you have.

Step 4:
Now you start applying the shimmery green eye shadow in random areas of your face. And below is how your look should be looking like.
***Tip for all of you if you have having difficulty with the area of your nose and eyes. Gently press down on the stocking and add your eye shadow. It seems hard at first but you'll get the hang of it eventually.
Step 5:
Carefully remove the fishnet stockings and be careful in not rubbing your face. The final look should look something like this. I find that it looks pretty great.
Hopefully, you guys liked this simple tutorial. If you guys would like to see me do more then comment below and email me at AmandaWeidensjo.inquiries@gmail.com and don't forget to follow my blog!
