A New Direction...

I mentioned I'd be revamping this blog and possibly taking it in a new direction. This is true. My plan is pretty simple: write about and post clips of what I do: shoot and direct. A production diary, a vlog of camera tests, behind-the-scenes footage, excerpts of my work: anything and everything. When inspired, I'll also write about the movies I'm watching...just like before.

The first entry of YCETVB's new direction happens to be a UFO sighting I accidentally caught on tape June 18, 2010. I was shooting time lapses with my Sony PMW-EX1R of the sky above Venice, California. On this occasion I programmed the interval recording to capture one frame every seven seconds. When I woke up the next morning and reviewed my footage, I found something I didn't expect...and something I couldn't explain. Take a look and if you've got a theory of your own, I'd love to hear it.
